Our client has an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable person who can maintain the purchase ledger and liaise with suppliers to resolve queries. This position will involve working as part of a friendly accounts payable team ensuring that the invoices are processed, and targets are met for prompt payment. The position includes:
Processing, examining and verifying transactions
Reconciliations
Intercompany processing
Dealing with external suppliers queries
Arrange payments on weekly and monthly basis as agreed
Processing the Direct Debit
Take control of the aged creditors
You will need to have at least 6 months experience in accounts payable whether that is as an accounts assistant or in a purchase ledger team.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent organisational skills
Be a great team player with a positive attitude
Able to work to deadlines
The successful candidate will have a good eye for detail, good team working skills and communication skills. Microsoft AX experience is desirable – but not essential.
This role is in office 2 Days per week and work from home for 3 Days.
There are good transport links available to our client, but if you are coming from Plymouth or Launceston you will need to drive on the days you are in the office, but there is free parking.
