About the role
You will be working in the Cardiology Department servicing the front desk, working alongside other administration staff, doctors, nurses and allied health staff.

The successful candidate will be processing a high volume of appointment bookings, phone answering, greeting patients, digital medicals records and various other administrative duties as needed for the department. You will be supported with training in all aspects of all the roles and support in the unit.

About You
As the successful candidate you will need to bring your ‘can do attitude’, be a great time manager, be able to think on your feet and have great attention to detail. You will be a team player and also be able to work without supervision.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases – this is a Category A position. Please read and understand NSW Health policy directive (PD2022_030). All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in the policy.

To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
