Reporting to the Office Manager, the Administrative Officer works as a member of the administrative team in providing administrative support service to the local offices, support services teams, central office, aboriginal services staff, and other Department for Education staff.
The role is accountable for the provision of specialised personal and confidential administrative support to the Student Support Services Assistant Director and/or Team Manager within the context of a high quality service delivery to clients of the region. The Administrative Officer will contribute to the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices within the team and the achievement of region and organisational objectives and goals.
Desirable: Administrative support / Clerical experience
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care) training course which will be required to be updated every three years.
