We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Litigation and Legal Services team.
As a Litigator, in our Office of the Chief Tax Counsel business area, you’ll undertake less complex litigation and dispute resolution cases, conduct research, prepare court documents and correspondence, and advocate as required. You’ll liaise with legal stakeholders, manage timeframes and may appear in legal proceedings and hearings on less complex tax technical, debt recovery and administrative law matters. You’ll work autonomously and as part of a team to assist with a range of litigation and legal advice cases and assist senior litigators on more complex matters.
You will help achieve team outcomes and build capability through continuous improvement and support the team to improve litigation practices and policy, technology and reporting changes.
This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Perth or Sydney CBD.
