The Customer Tenancy Officer and Business Support is accountable for providing information and advice to customers on their housing options and assessing eligibility for customers to access crisis and supported accommodation, social housing and private rental assistance. Included is undertaking tenancy management of social rental housing properties to put in place or monitor any necessary safeguards identified and/or required.

The role will manage the allocation of SA Housing Authority properties to achieve successful housing outcomes. Managing staff undertaking customer service and delivery of administrative services including office facilities, accommodation, business continuity and emergency management functions, and managing the business services team.

Special Conditions

Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.

Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a DHS Screening Unit Working with Children Check prior to being employed and every 5 years

The successful applicant may be required to hold a current Australian issued Driver’s Licence, which must be maintained.

Some out of hour’s work may be required upon activation of the Emergency Relief Functional Support Group.

Appointment will be to a specific Region within SA Housing Authority with possible movement to any other Region depending on organisational needs. The incumbent may be assigned to any other area to perform work of a similar nature appropriate to the classification on a temporary or continuing basis.
