The National and International Assessments Officer is responsible for providing specialist consultancy services and advice, leading and delivering complex administrative functions and projects which extend across directorates/agencies and ensuring efficient work practices are implemented, maintained and upheld within the workgroup. The National and International Assessments Officer participates in the
planning, delivery and evaluation of Education Assessments and Collections and is the primary point of contact for administering national, international and sample assessments and works with key stakeholders and schools to ensure assessments are conducted in accordance with the agreed timeframes. In consultation with ACARA, the role also manages the equating and trial schools. This role will be required to work collaboratively and with flexibility across teams, based on peak workloads and priorities.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Requirements

Remuneration
ASO4: $74,315 – $77,901 pa
