Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer

Our client, a market leader in the property industry, has a brilliant opportunity for a permanent bookkeeper to join their team. 

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is office based, situated in Melbourne’s inner city suburbs, and requires someone with exceptional experience in a similar role previously. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Monitor account inbox and respond to enquiries 
  • Month end reporting
  • Reconciliations
  • Draft payment claims
  • Project payments on both a weekly and monthly basis
  • Preparation/lodgement of BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT etc  
  • Ad-hoc duties as required 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience working in a similar role previously  
  • MYOB system experience 
  • Skilled in using MS Excel
  • Natural communicator and attentive to detail 
  • A personality that thrives in a fast paced environment
