Carpenter / Building trade

Urban Services / Bathroom Projects is seeking an experienced Carpenter to work with our Renovations Team across Adelaide and the greater metropolitan area. You will be joining a busy team with a lot of opportunities available to new members of staff to help with the ever-growing workload. Bathroom Projects/ Urban Services specialises in bathroom renovation projects as well as a wide range of home and commercial improvements.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • First fix carpentry including wall framing, framing out for niches and baths as well as install timber lintels as required
  • Gyprocking (with flushing abilities looked on favourably)
  • Second fix carpentry including installation of architraves and skirtings, hanging of doors and installation of door hardware and laying of floating floors.


We require someone that has strong carpentry abilities, and are able to work on their own as well as part of a team. The right applicant will need effective communication skills to liaise with supervisors, suppliers and clients. 

We pride ourselves on keeping clean and tidy jobsites and expect you to maintain this level of care and attention to detail. Safety is another of our primary focuses and expect that all staff working with Bathroom Projects adhere to this standard.


We require from you:

  • Carpentry Trade Qualification is essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and safe operating procedures
  • Attention to detail and pride of quality, efficiency and safety measures
  • Ability and willingness to work alone as well as take direction from supervisors
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card) – required
  • Current and valid Australian Driver’s License – required
  • Police clearance – preferred
  • DCSI clearance – preferred
  • First Aid certificate – preferred
  • Have strong first and second fix finishing ability
  • Strong communication skills with clients, suppliers and fellow staff members
  • Be reliable and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work with other trades on site is essential
