The role:
The initial contract in 2022 covers a total of up to 400 work hours ($41.90/hour), with a potential opportunity for contract renewal in 2023.
The candidate is expected to work flexibly for approximately 10 hours per week.
Be expected to work in a blended environment, with most of the time working from home but attendance in hub’s face-to-face events may be required
To be successful, you’ll have:
Possess proficient skills in using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, excel, and Powerpoint
Have sound IT knowledge
A self-starter who is organised and good at time management
Collaborative, committed and hard-working
Have strong industry experience
Your key responsibilities will be to:
In this role you will undertake the following responsibilities:
Managing the coordination and marketing for events
Creating and maintaining files to document information prior to and after the organisations of events
Searching for information about potential visitors, grants, and media articles
Managing logistics for hosting visitors
Handling administrative tasks related to the promotion and branding of the hub, including regularly updating the hub’s website, posting event news on social media
Managing the hub’s budget
