About the Opportunity

Technical Partners (Health) is a multi-disciplinary technical support team within the Health Group. We are offering an opportunity to become part of a high performing team providing technical support to the Griffith Health’s learning and teaching, research, and stores activities.

Disciplines supported may include nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, pharmacology, medicine, dentistry, stores and logistics, equipment maintenance, paramedicine, medical laboratory sciences, molecular biology, physiotherapy, or sports and exercise science.

Applicants for Technical Assistant roles may be required to work a range of shifts for varying lengths of time (not generally exceeding 7.25 hours) between the hours of
7:00am to 11:00pm Monday to Friday.

These are casual positions based at the Nathan, Logan or Gold Coast campus and it is expected that casual staff will be available to attend campus in person as a normal requirement of the role.

Salary Range (Casual)

The salary range for this position is HEW Level 3 ($37.95 – $41.95 per hour)


About You

You will have completed year 12 with relevant work experience in a busy laboratory, clinical practice, health-related field, university stores or teaching environment or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.

You will have the capacity to respond to changing needs with strong problem-solving skills, the demonstrated capacity to develop productive working relationships, and contribute to a collegial team environment, be open to different disciplines, perspectives, cultures and experience and continually develop self and build and share expertise with others.
