About the role:

  • You will be responsible for setting up and managing a brand-new Montessori Centre 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Centre
  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team to ensure all our staff provide the highest quality learning and care for the children under our care
  • Manage your centre’s performance by applying strong business and financial experience to meet your centre KPI’s and Assessment & Ratings results
  • Build strong relationships with families and the community. Manage open days, centre tours and orientation that will help your centre actively attract, convert and retain families.
  • Work with your educators to ensure your team is providing a quality program that evolving to meet the highest standards
  • Strong understanding of Regulation/Legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Montessori Framework and National Quality Standards (NQS) essential
  • Hands-on experience running a large Centre (126 places), including effective rostering and wage control, and guiding a large team’s performance 
  • Undertake a Nominated Supervisor role
  • Maintain and improve centre’s A&R rating

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood along with Montessori Qualification (preferred) 
  • Strong leadership skills and knowledge within the Childcare industry
  • Have a minimum of five years’ experience in a Leadership position 
  • Relevant working with children checks, police checks, child protection course, First Aid and CPR including anaphylaxis and asthma
  • Previous experience with the administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training
  • Experience managing a budget for an Early Years Education Centre
