Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a passionate and keen Youth Worker / Community Development Officer to join our PCYC Toowoomba Youth Club. If you are enthusiastic and have a gusto for increasing youth involvement in programs and events, then we want you!

Your New Role

Reporting to the Youth Club Manager, you will be one of our many valuable Youth Worker/Community Development Officers implementing programs and activities that promote participation of young people and surrounding communities. This position cultivates positive outcomes and opportunities both personally and as a community. If this sounds like you, download our Position Description for more information.

About You

Minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline or equivalent level of experience in social and community sector

Experience in undertaking youth related activities

Hold a light rigid driver’s licence and a Restricted Drivers’ Authority (or ability to obtain)

Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)

Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. It is a mandatory requirement for all PCYC employees to have received the prescribed number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
