Full Job Description
ASX listed business based in the CBD looking for company secretary on a part time basis to provide governance & compliance reporting.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring a clear financial story is developed and communicated both internally and externally as required by the Corporations Act, the Company Constitutions, ASX Listing Rules. Your technical skills will be invaluable for advising the board and its committees on governance matters . Harness your brilliance with corporate governance as you develop, implement, communicate and maintain the corporate governance compliance policies, processes and procedures. In addition to routinely monitoring compliance with the board and committee policies and procedures including regulatory filings and complying with the ASX Listing Rules including as the primary nominated ASX contact person, you will also ensure the directors meetings are properly called and held.

Your Skills & Experience

Experience operating in a closely aligned functional role in a similar environment to the Group, preferably an ASX Listed company, in the capacity of Company Secretary.

Extensive experience in a senior management role working with Boards

Sound knowledge of the legislative framework surrounding the legal obligations of the role and Board positions on governance matters

Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and adhering to a range of policies, procedures and governance structures
