We have an exciting Corporate & Digital Communications Manager opportunity in our Corporate Affairs and Engagement team. This position will be offered on a 12 month contract.
This role is responsible for leading a small team of specialists, delivering corporate and digital communications and design to enhance the reputation of the organisation and build awareness of our purpose.
Day to day, you will lead all aspects of corporate and digital communication including branding, publications, sponsorships, internal communications, social media and websites. As our subject matter expert, you will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to drive strategic internal and external to support organisational priorities, purpose and direction. This is a hands-on management role that involves a bit of everything so a general understanding of government operations, design and digital will be essential. You will be a natural people leader who leads from the front and leads by example.
- Qualifications in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications or a relevant discipline
- A natural leader with previous experience in a senior communications, journalism or corporate affairs role
- Significant experience independently managing and providing strategic advice on corporate and digital communications
- Ability to lead a team responsible for the creation of content and management of digital/online channels
- An understanding of Victorian Government priorities and processes will be ideal
