CSR Clinical Assistant

As the Clinical Assistant you will contribute to a high quality and cost-effective pathology services to clients of the Queensland Children’s Hospital and Pathology Queensland. The successful candidate will ensure that all relevant laboratory practices comply with Pathology Queensland, NATA, and ISO requirements. You will be required to work weekends, early starts, and late finishes.

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in or the ability to rapidly learn pre-analytical and post-analytical clinical laboratory tasks.
  • Demonstrated initiative, highly developed communication skills, and a commitment to personal and organisational excellence.
  • Demonstrated high level skills, or ability to rapidly acquire high level skills, in the use of AUSLAB and ieMR.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to quality and service improvement activities in accordance with National Association of Testing Authority/International Standardisation Organisation (NATA/ISO) accreditation / certification.
  • Ability to work additional shifts to support planned and unplanned leave within the team.
