The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.
Duties
The Assistant Customer Service Centre Manager is accountable to the Manager and responsible for providing assistance in the efficient and effective day to day management and delivery of a comprehensive range of high quality customer focused, integrated Government services to the South Australian community.
In particular, the role will assist coordinate the daily activities of Customer Service Officers, coach them to deal with more complex customer issues and ensure they are provided with updated policy, procedures and training.
The role will provide support to the Manager to develop, implement and review work practices to enhance service delivery and assist in the collection and analysis of customer feedback.
The Assistant Customer Service Centre Manager will ensure integrity of transactions, including maintenance and access to systems, so all Customer Service Officers have access to relevant information and referral networks to meet their obligations under the Service SA service level agreements.

Special Conditions
Must be prepared to be reassigned to different Service SA locations during periods of staff absences and high workloads or as required to meet business needs.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check prior to employment with the Department. Additional employment checks may be required relevant to the role being undertaken as outlined in the role statement.
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel may be required.
