Job Description

As a Customer Service/Retention Officer, your duties include but aren’t limited to:

Assisting customer with enquiries and requests via email and inbound calls

Providing proactive customer engagement

Internal liaison with other departments to ensure a smooth process

Ensuring existing clients are offered the best rate via the internal system

Account management of client base

Support other areas of the business as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have customer service or retention experience, great communication skills and should be comfortable dealing with customer via phone and email. You will not only have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will have the ability to build rapport with clients, critical thinking skills to ensure complex cases can be made simple and a strong ability to think flexibly in a past-paced environment. Previous banking industry experience is highly preferred and qualifications in banking or finance will be looked upon favourably.
