Due to significant growth and internal movement several fabulous opportunities have arisen to join RAA’s friendly Retail Sales Team. We have a unique chance to work from our Mt Gambier shop and from your home.
We’re looking for people who are passionate, customer centric and enjoy creating memorable experiences for our members. To be successful you will have a drive to succeed and the ability to provide excellent service over the phone while multi-tasking with computer systems.
Our Retail Sales Consultants provide immediate and effective solutions to our members, coupled with achieving brilliant sales targets together with:
Ensuring quality conversations to identify customer needs and offer best solutions.
Being the first point of contact for our members and potential customers.
Utilising procedures and guidelines to make good business decisions for RAA and our members.
Becoming multi-skilled and able to provide information to new and existing members about all of RAA’s extensive products including Insurance and Road Service.

We pride ourselves on ensuring our staff succeed, and as such, RAA will provide a thorough and structured training program. The role will be commencing Monday 8th August which will include 4 weeks full-time training of system and product knowledge. The first 2 weeks will occur from a training site in Mt Gambier. The final weeks will be virtual learning from home.
You will be part of our Retail Contact Centre which services all of South Australia and is open Monday – Friday between 8am to 6pm (you’ll work on a rotating roster during these hours- shifts are 8 hours with opportunity for overtime) as well as some rostered and optional overtime Saturday shifts between 9am to 12pm.
At RAA we hire on cultural fit first and technical fit second! However, to be successful in the role you will need to have:
Experience providing excellent customer service and a passion to help others.
Previous sales experience with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
Solid attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Proficient with the use of computers.
Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
You will need to provide a safe, private working environment that includes a desk and chair at your place of residence. You will also need to have reliable fast internet. RAA will provide all computer and IT equipment.
