We are a dynamic, multifaceted business seeking a Cybersecurity & Governance Analyst, with passion and drive to support the business.

Your new role

This role reports to MIGA’s ICT Manager, and is responsible for:

In conjunction with the ICT Manager, developing information security policies and procedures and ensuring internal (staff) and external compliance

Developing an information governance model and increasing data ownership and awareness to business stakeholders

Participating in information security audits, and assisting in the design, implementation and monitoring of security controls.

Ensuring appropriate governance processes are established and maintained

Establish a strong relationship with MIGA’s Cyber Security partners

Monitoring MIGA’s computer networks and cloud systems to identify and resolve any security breaches and recommend business improvements to reduce risk

In conjunction with the ICT Manager and MIGA’s Cyber Security partner, develop Cyber Security Strategy and activities program calendar

Evaluate the risk of any new and existing software and systems, to help protect MIGA’s data and sensitive information

Creation of operational and security governance policies and reports

Management of the staff Security Awareness training program and helping build resilience across the business

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology and/ or 3 – 5 years’ experience in an IT Governance and/or compliance role for either an auditing firm or financial services organisation

ITIL – IT Service Management certification

COBIT5, NIST or industry related framework

CompTIA Security+
