Job Description:
The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board’s Education Program inspires and empowers young people to learn about, connect with, and actively manage our natural resources. The Education Officer (Murraylands) works within a small passionate team to deliver hands-on school sessions, develop education resources, run education events, support the River Murray Youth Council, coordinate teacher professional development, and connect young people with a range of exciting and meaningful opportunities. The role focusses on working with schools in the Murraylands area (Lower River Murray and Murray Mallee).
Contract period:
Up to 29 February 2024
Requirements:
This position will be located at Murray Bridge.
Tertiary qualification in natural resource management, environmental science, education or related area is desirable.
Knowledge of the curriculum within the South Australian Primary and Secondary Schools education systems.
A current class ‘C’ driver’s license is essential and willingness to drive.
A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) screening.
Remuneration:
ASO4 ($74,315 – $77,901)
