About the role

We are looking for experienced Electricians to join our high performing Dewatering Team.

Join the team at Brockman 4 and Greater Nammuldi and be part of something bigger, driving the latest technological advancements with the opportunity for career advancement.

These roles are a great opportunity for experienced and motivated individuals to join our growing operations team. Working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster and reporting to the Supervisor Mine Water Management, you will be responsible for:

Stat inspecting, repairing, replacing and monitoring of assets

Maintaining and fault-finding electrical equipment/systems within the pit

Cable joins and telemetry

Identifying opportunities for improvement in the equipment or work procedures

Fostering a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, we require:
A commitment to health and safety

Strong experience with generators and bore pumps

Manual C class Western Australian driver’s licence

Experience with submersible cable joins

An A grade electrical licence

Strong knowledge of Australian standards

Ability to work as part of a small proactive team

Desire to deliver work to a high standard

Experience in Dewatering (preferred)

Where you will be working

Located 60km north-west of Tom Price, Brockman is wholly owned and operated by Rio Tinto. Opened in 2010, this open pit operation offers a family friendly fly in fly out roster with state-of-the-art camp facilities.

The Greater Nammuldi Operations consist of Brockman 2, Nammuldi and Silvergrass. Driving the latest technological advancements, the open-pit mines offer an avenue for opportunity and career progression.
