About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Technical Services Leader you will ensure the effective resolution of any technical issues relating to the Maintenance of Electronic equipment by utilizing internal and external contractors as required.

Responsibilities include:
Completing repairs, testing and configuration of devices withing the required timeframe

Coordinating the planning and scheduling of contractors to meet plant maintenance needs

Liaising with stakeholders, clients, and suppliers

Attend to equipment breakdowns where electronics based components are reported malfunctioning

Ensure any new plant installations are complaint with the Electrical Equipment & Installations standards by regularly reviewing contractor quality of workmanship

Participate in regular toolbox meetings

Provide technical support to tradesmen and plant Engineers when required

About your experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Trade background or Technical certificate in any of the following: Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation

Excellent communication skills and able to work independently or as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and able to follow standard operating procedures

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite

Self motivated and enthusiastic approach

Ability to solve technical problems

Strong analytical, planning and organizing skills

Effective stakeholder management skills
