Helpdesk Operator

Full-Time 6 Month Contract

Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance (E&M) Operations Support Team Leader, the Operations Support Officer will assist in the end-to-end management of maintenance jobs requested through the Support Centre. In this position, you will provide quality customer service by effectively managing and processing all inbound and outbound maintenance-related calls and e-mails.

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

Answering inbound telephone calls to the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) Operations Support Centre within required call pick-up times and in a manner that aligns with Crown Service Standards

Monitor and respond to inbound e-mails sent to the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) Operations Support Centre within required response times and in a manner that aligns with Crown Service Standards

Liaising with Crown E&M team members and external contractors to ascertain progress of maintenance jobs

Providing a professional outbound service to E&M customers to inform them of material impacts on the status of their job

General administration duties such as preparing reports and regular auditing of data

Develop a trusting relationship and working rapport with team members and ensure a positive approach to work

To be successful, you will need:
Relevant experience within a call centre environment

Commitment to improving and delivering customer service

Exceptional communications skills, both written & verbal

Knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Available to work across a 7 day a week on a rotating or various shift roster

Availability to work on public holidays such as Christmas & Easter

Knowledge of using a Maintenance Management System is desirable
