We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Events Attendant at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, part of the Merlin Entertainments group.

About the Role
Reporting to the Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have amazing and memorable experiences. The Merlin Events Team has a real focus on FUN!! While having a real love for what we do. As owner and operator of Australia’s most exciting venues we are proud to offer exciting and unique events to our clients.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Casual Function and Event work
  • End to end event service including set-up and pack down
  • Food and beverage service including waiting tables and serving drinks
  • Follow RSA requirements and food safety standards


About You

To shine in this role, you will ideally have strong customer service skills and experience in hospitality. A passion for working in the tourism/hospitality industry is essential.


You will also have…
  • Current valid RSA
  • Primarily for peak period so must have availability through to late December, mostly evening and weekends
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and follow instructions
  • Quick and efficient approach to tasks
  • Professional and neat presentation
  • Ability to carry 3 plates at once
