ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Exhibition Assistant will be preparing and assisting in the installation and deinstallation of exhibitions. The work can include assembly, cleaning, installation and deinstallation of showcases and display furniture, painting, assisting in the production, install, deinstall of graphics and transportation between sites.
Notable skills and experiences:
Experience in similar museum or gallery environments and roles
Practical and hands on skills, such as use of tools
The successful applicant will have an ability to work well in a team, attention to detail and a commitment to safe work environments for themselves and others.
OTHER INFORMATION:
This is a casual position. The hourly rate is $35.47 (including casual loading) + 10.5% superannuation.
