About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Proactively manage the following services: security, parking, fleet, and mail centre management to ensure KPI’s are being set, measured, and reported, contract meetings are held, and contract terms are being either met or exceeded.
Oversee the recruitment, training and development of security team members and attend interviews to screen new security staff to ensure quality.
Provide comprehensive reporting on the contracts’ progress and performance for management including written proposals and reports for action where areas of concern are identified.
Manage the day-to-day operational security, parking, fleet, and mail centre services including the University’s Control Room.
Assist the Associate Director to develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of Swinburne security, parking, fleet and mail centre policies and procedures in relation to day-to-day operations.
Work with key members of the Swinburne Incident Management Team and the Crisis Management Team, enhance the Security Strategy for the University
Optimise frameworks, procedures, and efficiencies relevant to this role and see through to implementation.
Qualifications
A relevant tertiary qualification in business, or security
Current Crowd Control and Security Guard License including current Level 2 First aid Certificate
Extensive experience in managing staff and of contractors in a busy environment on a campus or in a similar large multi-site organisation.
