About Us

In the heart of the Gold Coast, sits our award winning RACV Royal Pines Resort, catering for the largest of events, of up to 1500 guests. Our property is an idyllic location for sporting groups, conferences and meetings, weddings, gala events, exhibitions and product launches. We also have a wedding chapel, 8 restaurants and bars, a luxury day spa and sporting facilities, which include a championship golf course, international standard tennis facilities, and gym.

With three 18-hole, par-72 combination layouts on our golf course, a visit to Royal Pines guarantees a memorable round of golf for both serious and casual golfers. Situated just a short drive from Surfers Paradise and embracing the natural formation of the land, the course boasts superbly manicured greens, scenic lakes, deep bunkers and an idyllic backdrop of the mountains.

A day in the life

RACV Royal Pines Resort is looking for casual Golf & Sport Attendants to work as an integral part of the golf and sports team. Operating hours vary between 5am – 7pm.

We love golf at Royal Pines, and are looking for passionate team members to further enhance the expected high standard of service we deliver to our members, guests and the general public. Our team are highly professional, positive and service orientated. Duties will include:

Deliver five star customer service with a smile

Provide assistance to players in preparation for tee off

Issue hire equipment and coordinate golf cart use & maintenance

Managing members, guests and general public bookings & enquiries

Demonstrating a sound knowledge of golfing rules and operations

Participating in the promotion and organisation of golfing events

Opening and closing the golf shop and assisting with retail purchases

Product knowledge & assisting with merchandising of golf shop stock

Resort knowledge and upselling of services

We are looking for

Have 1 year previous experience in a similar role at a golf club or hotel/resort environment

Flexibility to work between 5am-7pm, 3-5 shifts per week

Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster Sunday-Saturday & public holidays

Demonstrate a high standard of quality customer service experience & skills

Attention to detail and efficient time management skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Work well in a team environment and with diverse groups of people

Ability to prioritise workload and use initiative to problem solve

Be self motivated, confident, friendly, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude

Excellent personal presentation

Computer skills – Microsoft office & MiClub would be an advantage.

Flexible to adapt to a changing environment & work in the golf shop or driving range when required

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate, desirable
