The Assistant Group Coordinator is ultimately responsible for assisting the Senior Group Coordinator Restaurants to coordinate the day to day running of all group restaurant customer interactions. It is a requirement of this role to understand customers’ needs and utilise appropriate systems and sales techniques (including cross selling and up selling) to offer additional or alternative products or services whilst maintaining accurate customer records.
Extensive customer service experience
Experience and exposure to reservations systems
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products
Experience with Opera Hotel Property Management System-well regarded
Hospitality qualifications – beneficial
