What you’ll be doing:
Join NSW Health in this position as a Health and Security Assistant at Lithgow Hospital, in this great flexible opportunity as a Permanent Part Time employee – working 16 hours per week. 
Start or continue your career in NSW Health in this casual and flexible position that is located away from the city, but still part of the prestigious Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District – all without leaving the Lithgow/ Portland area!
Our preferred candidate(s) should be aware that this position involves dual responsibilities of both Security Assistant as well as Health Assistant. This position is a 50/50 split of responsibilities and includes:

  • Door checks and perimeter checks
  • Assisting with crowd or consumer control
  • Provide security response and security support to the hospital as required
  • Internal transportation of patient, patient related and non-patient related items within the hospital.
  • General cleaning duties
  • Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment for patients/ clients, visitors and staff
  • Provide occasional support to Nursing and Medical Staff
