Level Crossing Removal Program (LXRP) are looking to recruit graduates from the Human Resources, Land & Property, Safety and Surveying disciplines. These roles will work specifically for LXRP but will form part of the broader Victoria’s Big Build Graduate Program.

Graduates will be employed at a VPS3 grade with a starting salary of $72,751 plus superannuation (effective from June 2022– as per VPS EA 2020).

About you

We are seeking recent graduates, representative of Victoria’s diverse community to join the 2023 Level Crossing Removal Project Graduate Program.

You will be highly motivated, demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities and are keen to kick start your career.

To be eligible, you must have completed your degree between January 2020 and January 2023 and have Australian full working rights at the time of application.

About LXRP

At LXRP, we’re not just removing level crossings, we are removing barriers and creating legacies for our communities for years to come. By 2025, we will have removed 85 dangerous and congested level crossings improving safety, reducing congestion and helping people get home safer & faster.

Applications are submitted through the Victorian Government’s careers website and must include:

  • Resume (three pages max)
  • Copy of your academic transcript (official or unofficial – must include your name, university and course title)
  • Proof of Australian working rights (e.g. Australia/New Zealand Passport; Birth Certificate, Permanent Residency or valid Work Visa)

You must attach the above documentation by the closing date, otherwise your application will not progress. Applications will not be accepted via email. Candidates applying must have working rights within Australia at the time of application as we are unable to offer work sponsorship.

Our selection process includes a mix of assessment activities such as cognitive assessments, interviews and pre-employment checks.
