This position will manage a team that administers student surveys, analyses internal and external datasets and product performance reports that support academic governance and management. Furthermore, this role will support the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Quality by generating business intelligence for strategy development, operational planning, performance measurement and business reporting.
This position will focus on collaboration, efficiency, delivery, and client service by ensuring the right people, processes, and systems are in place to drive high standards of service to stakeholders.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Evidenced research and analytical skills preferably with a background in statistics, mathematics or data science.
Strong technical skills, business intelligence software skills, and statistical software skills.
A thorough understanding of qualitative and quantitative data collection, processing, modelling, analysis and communication as they relate to operational efficiency, academic governance and quality in higher education.
Proven problem-solving and quantitative analytical ability to efficiently source all relevant data to identify solutions for consideration.
Proven ability to extract and analyse data from complex and diverse data sets and systems and to utilise business analysis tools to develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics.
Qualifications
Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
