We are looking for experienced Travel Consultants who have a passion for airfares. This role is ideal for a Retail or Corporate consultant looking for a change, and an opportunity to work with Australia’s leading Cruise package specialist – MyCruises.
Our air consultants manage the air elements of our packages after the initial sale. There is no requirement to secure the sale. You will be expected to coordinate airfares for our pre-packaged confirmed bookings and using your airfare knowledge present the best options for our customers using some of the worlds well known airlines.
Specific Duties:
Answering inbound phone calls from existing customers regarding the airfare element of their booking.
Coordinating airfares for pre-packaged & pre-purchased cruise bookings
Managing customers flight deviation requests
Upsell airfares where required to premium economy, Business and First.
Ensuring frequent flyer details/ baggage/meals and seating allocation requests are in place at the time of booking
Ability to search and book complex itineraries(stopovers/surface sectors etc )
Understanding clients’ needs and requirements and offering the best itinerary within package allowances
Sound travel industry product and cruise destination knowledge (advantage)
Deliver timely and accurate details to ensure a smooth after booking journey
Completing administrative functions associated with the position in an accurate and timely manner
Ensuring Company policy and procedure is followed
Key Competencies:

GDS experience (Amadeus would be an advantage)
