The Nursing and Midwifery Simulation Ward Coordinator manages all aspects of the simulation learning environment of the School, adequate resourcing, contemporary simulation learning program delivery and compliance with all relevant legislation. This position is responsible for the sole provision of all simulation learning environment functions for the School and will work collaboratively with permanent and sessional staff to provide support to teaching and learning teams by performing a variety of tasks to ensure that equipment and materials are appropriately set-up in workshops and other classes.
Reporting to the Nursing and Midwifery Simulation Laboratory Manager, this position has a key role in the implementation of the School’s simulation learning strategy. The role is physically demanding due to the regular movement of equipment and materials; and requires a solid understanding of the allocation of all resources – physical, human, and financial.
Tertiary qualifications in a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation
Registered with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia

Benefits & Remuneration
This permanent, ongoing position attracts a salary of $85,551 to $92,301 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
