About Us

The Western Force is a professional rugby union team based in Western Australia competing in the elite Super Rugby Pacific and Super W competitions.

As an organisation, the Force has a proud history, having been formed in 2004 and making its Super Rugby debut in 2006 at its original home, Subiaco Oval. Backed by Tattarang, the club operates at the highest level of sporting professionalism in Western Australia and has a strong presence nationally and internationally.

About the Role

The Office Manager and CEO Support for the Western Force is a unique opportunity to support a professional sporting team, whilst also being connected with the wider Tattarang family and its partnerships. You will be part of a forward-thinking and inclusive organisation that is passionate about empowering its people to make a difference in the world.

Reporting to the CEO, you will manage the day to day running of the Western Force office, delivering an exemplary client and employee experience as the face of Sea of Blue and the Western Force. Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting the CEO and Senior Management team with board meeting preparation, preparation and distribution of minutes, and day to day administration operations.

Ensuring smooth running of the office space and facilities including management of contractors for Rugby HQ cleaning, service, maintenance and security.

Management of office maintenance issues promptly and coordinate office activities as required including catering for meetings and functions.

Support Sea of Blue Finance, Commercial, High Performance, Membership and Ticketing Operations as required.

Generation administration such as travel and accommodation bookings, reception cover, management of stationery supplies and maintenance of preferred supplier list.

Please note there is flexibility around the hours of work with the role being offered on either a permanent part time or full-time basis depending on the candidate’s preference.


About You

You will be solutions focussed and efficient with a high degree of confidentiality and sensibility. Experience in a similar role where you have established and maintained long lasting relationships with Senior Management and stakeholders will ensure your success.

Your strengths will include:
Proven work experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, Receptionist or other relevant role.

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated flexibility and agility to achieve results

Demonstrated high level of multitasking
