What this job involves

As the Operations/ Facilities Manager for a portfolio team of 4 neighbourhood shopping centres, your key focus will be on the management of the ongoing client activities for the properties and be the on-site key point of contact. Day to day you will maintain tenant relationships, conduct inspections, obtain quotes & arrange repairs of building services. You’ll ensure that the assets are fully maintained with your focus on presentation & maintenance.

Your priorities at all times will be the health, safety & security of all visitors and occupants. Promoting and demonstrating superior customer service will be a key element of this role.

Your main office is based at Lakelands, and you will also be responsible for Beeliar, Banksia and Brighton. There is flexibility for the right candidate on the base location for the role.

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
It is preferred that you have some experience in a retail environment, with either a trade or engineering qualifications (mechanical or electrical). Strong communication and customer service skills are sought, along with a proactive and positive work approach.

The ability to be assertive when required, to remain calm in pressured situations and a high level of attention to detail will ensure your success in this role.

Both written and spoken communication skills are vital and, of course, you’ll be good at building team relationships and interacting effectively with business partners.
