We are a small growing business making/selling mostly French small goods (Saucisson, pates, rillettes, foie gras…), cheese and sweets (macarons, beignets…) in Brisbane.

We are looking for a mix role of light warehousing for order preparation in Coopers Plains (Brisbane South) and retail assistant at the West End market (every Saturday).
About 15 to 25 hours/week, part time. Starting immediately.

THE JOB:
At the Coopers Plains warehouse: (light duty)
– Online and Wholesale Orders preparation
– Market preparation
– Receiving/sorting stocks
– Orders delivery
At the market:
– Handling the stall
– Organising degustation and sampling of our products.
– Selling the products
– Serving people
YOU MUST:
– Have an interest in Gourmet Food and/or knowledge about Cheese, Charcuterie (small goods) and French Food in general
– Have a proactive, problem solving attitude and a very high attention to details
– Have Excellent People and Sales skills
– Have Cash and Food handling experience
– Be Punctual, Friendly, Honest and Reliable
– Have a manual driver License
You will not use your own vehicle but the business’ van which is manual.
– Have your own vehicle/transportation to get to the Warehouse in Coopers Plains (Brisbane South).
French speaker a plus, but gourmet food interest and excellent people and sales skills a must.
Salary: General Retail Industry Award. [MA000004]

Part-time hours: 15-25 per week
Salary: $29.23 – $35.07 per hour
