Role Title: Receptionist
Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week. 8am – 5pm Monday and Tuesday
Rate: $30 – $35 per hour + super (pending experience)
Location: Newcastle

Hays currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join the team on a part time basis. Our client works within professional services, located in Newcastle. In this position, you will primarily be the first point of contact for all clients, contractors, and visitors to the office. We are seeking someone who is customer centric, demonstrates a high level of professionalism at all times, and can complete key administration duties to ensure smooth running of the office day-to-day.
Your new role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Reception duties including greeting visitors and clients, answering phone calls.
Answering customer enquiries in an efficient manner.
Providing excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders.
Use of Xero to lodge Tax Returns.
Office maintenance, including maintaining a tidy reception area, and liaising with Property Manager regarding building maintenance as needed.
Document management, including processing mail, scanning, and archiving.
Responsible for ad-hoc administration duties.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous Receptionist experience essential.
Excellent phone manner.
Present yourself professionally at all times.
Highly organised and have great customer service skills.
Previous use of Xero ideal.
