The Role

As a trainee Payroll Admin Assistant, you will have the opportunity to learn end-to-end payroll using highly regarded payroll software SAP, Success Factors and time and attendance system while undertaking a Certificate III in Business Administration.


  • Learn to process end to end payroll and assisting with payroll quality control.
  • Learn to validate and process superannuation payments into the companies superannuation clearing house.
  • Maintain a proper filing system for all transactions, within assigned responsibilities, for audit and accounting purposes.
  • Contribute to the development of efficient methods and procedures to enhance the ease and timeliness by which the payroll function is undertaken.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Be eligible and willing to complete a traineeship with successful completion of VCE/VCAL or equivalent.
  • On the job training provided but experience with Excel is highly desirable.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Professional approach.
  • Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Energetic (action oriented and committed to work).
