Receptionist/Administrator – 4 Full Days a Week

Australian Printer Services is a small successful I.T. business established in 1997 and based in Kew East Melbourne.  We specialise in servicing and selling of laser printers and their consumables. Our customers are our priority and their continual satisfaction with our service is the premier reason behind our success.

About the role

We require a Receptionist/Administrator with excellent customer service skills to manage telephones, email queries, process orders, sales and manage service calls.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Logging service calls and managing the progress.
  • Ordering and Invoicing
  • Reception – Taking phone messages and handling inquiries
  • Accounts receivable payments, including use of an EFTPOS machine
  • Statements (on a weekly basis)
  • Chase overdue payments
  • Filing
  • Follow up calls / emails

Skills and Experience

  • Proficient MYOB skills
  • Process multiple purchase orders and sales invoices with accuracy
  • Maintain debtors and manage customer accounts
  • Solid computer skills encompassing Word, Excel and Outlook; accuracy is a must
  • Professional and helpful telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to handle customer queries cheerfully, efficiently and professionally
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Good time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Must have a basic understanding of GST
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Self-motivated, committed, highly organised
  • Work autonomously when required
