RECEPTIONIST / TOURISM OFFICER

Melbourne River Cruises

Full-time 38hours per week – Monday to Friday Reporting to the SALES & EVENTS MANAGER. Your focus will be to provide the highest level of assistance & customer service via telephone ,email & personally via reception.

Operating since 1981 Melbourne River Cruises are an award winner & leader in Torism and Hospitality in Melbourne. We operate a restaurant, function facilities & sight seeing cruises, 7 days a week through out the year on any one of our 7 vessels.

We are looking for a fulltime pro active team member who will primarilyanswer tourism enquiries , process tourism boookings & support our sales team with restaurant bookings.payments & enquiries also assisting with invoicing.

You will be taught both our Tourism and Events packages & you will be provided with the tools to give accurate information.

You will be prompt and efficient with an eye for detail for record keeping, co-ordination , communication and time management with the clients and your team members.

ideally you will have;

Some experience in Office/Admin

Sales customer service experience, above reproach work ethics

Time management & interpersonal skills & excellent phone manner

Patience & ability to work under pressure and a quick thinker

Proficient computer skills particularly MICROSOFT Office

This position wouls suit a recent graduate

YOU WILL BE TRAINED IN ALL ASPECTS OF THIS POSITION

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Melbourne, VIC 3000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • MS Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
