Full Job Description
Applications are invited for an experienced Records & History Officer. The purpose of this role is to manage the electronic document and records management system including archival of paper based records and implementation of disposal schedules.

We require you to have…

Previous relevant experience/qualifications in a similar position would be highly desirable, although not necessary

Sound knowledge or ability to learn Councils Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) specifically Magiq/InfoXpert

Sound knowledge or ability to learn the Queensland Disposal Authority Numbers, specifically GRDS and QDAN480.

Current First Aid and CPR certificate or the ability to quickly obtain it.

A current C class manual driver’s licence

This position is based in the safe town of Bedourie, which is a small but vital town with fantastic modern facilities including 24/7 health services, school, sporting facilities and twice weekly flights to/from Brisbane/Mt Isa.

On offer are above award wages, monthly RDO’s and 6 weeks’ annual leave. A comfortable home is available in Bedourie at heavily subsidised rent (approximately $150/week for 3 bedrooms, partially furnished dwellings).

This position is offered as a fulltime permanent position.
