The opportunity

Kingfisher Bay Resort is World Heritage-listed K’gari (Fraser Island’s) premiere eco accommodation. Nestled amongst tree-covered dunes, along the calm waters of the Great Sandy Strait, it is the perfect base for exploration. Discover the island’s native surrounds with endless beaches, pristine freshwater lakes, lush rainforests and a spectacular range of wildlife. This 152-room resort features 4 outdoor pools, 3 restaurants, 4 bars and a variety of nature-based activities, walks and 4WD explorer tours.

Our Guest Service Agents are the face of our company and are committed to delivering brilliant customer experiences. Located at the reception in the resort’s centre complex, you’ll work in a fast-paced and professional environment, where no two days are the same!

Working up to 38 hours per week; the ideal candidate will bring exceptional service standards and prior experience working within a hotel/resort front office role. You will act as the first point of contact for guest arrivals/departures, respond to general enquiries and arrange reservations for the restaurant, spa and other activities. Your key to success in this role will be your strong customer focus, tech-savvy admin skills and ability to multi-task under pressure.

About you

Demonstrated experience in a similar fast paced environment (reception/hotel front office)

Committed to delivering brilliant customer experiences

Knowledge of reservation management systems

Hold the right to live and work in Australia
