Sales Assistant / All Rounder – Moorooka

Approx. 30-35 hrs per week, Available Shifts are 6am – 1pm or 11am – 6pm (or required by the business) 

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented person with excellent people skills looking for an opportunity to step up into a sales/store Assistant role within Australia’s leading Synthetic Grass Company. 

About Premier Synthetic Grass: Premier Grass is Artificial Grass supplier based in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and LA USA. We provide Artificial grass for retail and wholesale as well as perform installations.

As Sales Assistant / Store Person, you will report to our National Sales Manager. You will need to have a confident approach to customers, both in person and on the telephone. In this diverse role you will be involved in stock control, picking and organising orders/samples, ordering stock, sales targets, assisting tradies with excellent customer service, some deliveries and maintaining the overall look of the branch/WH in Moorooka QLD.

The successful applicant will have the following :

  • Manage your own workload without supervision
  • Ideally you will have worked in a similar store person/sales role or be willing to step up to a sales role
  • A great friendly personality, previously worked in team environment 
  • Must fit as there are some manual lifting involved
  • Excellence in customer service
  • Passion  and initiative to succeed
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy (Emails, word, excel, internet etc.)
  • Previous experience in similar trade is desirable but not essential
  • Communicating with customers/suppliers and organising their projects/problem solving
  • Stock Management with QR Code System (Training Provided)
  • Keeping the showroom/warehouse clean and tidy
  • Manual drivers licence
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays 8:30am till 1:30pm
