Senior Coordinator – Performance Emergency

An opportunity exists for a Senior Coordinator – Performance Emergency to contribute to the Emergency Access and Flow strategic and operational outcomes by providing business-focused advice and support the implementation of performance uplift initiatives in conjunction with clinical teams. Manage the Department of Emergency Medicine performance team to support SCHHS to deliver against the relevant Statewide and National Key Performance Indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Department of Emergency Medicine performance team to comprehensively analyse SCHHS performance against KPIs. Provide timely advice to Emergency Department on factors that reduce performance against KPI. Identify root causes of underperformance for resolution and rectification.
  • Work with the Department of Emergency Medicine leadership team to develop and implement improvement strategies, in line with best practice methodology, to drive KPI performance. Monitor, refine, and evaluate the impact of these strategies.
  • Work with inpatient teams to identify and develop strategies to resolve blockages preventing effective patient flow.
  • Support the Department of Emergency Medicine leadership team in the alignment of pre-existing quality and safety frameworks with the performance framework to help deliver safe, effective care.

Remuneration value up to $133 139 p.a., comprising salary between $108 936 – $116 690 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6).
