Due to internal progression with the On-call team, we are on the look out for a resourceful Senior On-Call Coordinator to join our On-Call Team on a permanent full time basis.

About the Position:

The Senior On-Call Coordinator is a multi faceted role where no day is the same; a day in the life of a SOC could look like:

Duties:

  • Lead the daily operations of the central On-Call Coordinators
  • Respond to incidents and provide support over the phone to staff dealing with After-Hours Emergencies, Critical Emergencies and/or Life-Threatening situations
  • Work collaboratively with On-Call Coordinators and Roster Coordinators to identify and solve potential rostering conflicts, gaps, overlapping visits, or other rostering problems
  • Ensure the accurate and timely capturing and reporting of quality information and safeguards reporting
  • Resolving operational issues and removing barriers to service delivery
  • Support the growth of our team through demonstrated leadership and mentoring support


About You:

This is a is a key leadership role where we are looking for someone that has:

  • The ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties
  • Has the confidence to work in a role autonomously often as first point of contact
  • Flexible and adaptable to an often demanding and changing space
  • Is resilient in times of challenging behaviours and/or confronting situations – We’ve got your back!
  • Available to work a flexible roster that will include some shifts until 7pm and weekend work
  • Previous working experience in rostering, workforce scheduling staff or an on call environment whilst not necessary would be highly regarded
  • The drive to jump in and work collaboratively with our growing team and stakeholders
