C.E.M. Alliance on behalf of our valued client seek to appoint an experienced Shot Crew operators for an immediate commencement.
About the role:
Reporting to the Shotfirer and as part of the shot crew, your day to day duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Marking out, priming, loading, stemming, and doing all things necessary to support and assist the shot-firer to achieve the daily drilling and blasting objectives in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure the safe, use, storage, security, transport and handling of explosives on the project site in accordance with all statutory and company procedural requirements
Ensure all blasting practices conform to relevant Australian Mining, OH&S and Explosives & Dangerous Goods Legislation
Ensure magazine records are accurately maintained to required standards
Ensure housekeeping in magazines, magazine compound, explosive vehicles and work areas is maintained to a high level
Operate ancillary equipment (stemming loader etc.)

2/1 Roster (14 days on 7 days off roster)
Industry competitive flat rates – $55.00 – $60.00 pending experience.
Super paid on all hours.
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate previous mine site experience within a similar role.
Essential Experience & Applicant Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role.
Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC),
Senior First Aid.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & Drug & Alcohol Screening.
Be able to provide 2 x work references from most recent employers.
These roles form part of the “full time” onsite structure. Successful candidates by option may choose casual or full time engagement.
