As the Test Manager, you will be leading the testing efforts on a program that involves the technical migration of approximately 1300 users, devices, software and applications from one network to another network. In this role you will report directly to the Program Manager and be directly involved with all key client communications, technical lead team discussions and problem/issue resolutions. This role will also be working with relevant teams including server, SOE, operational security, Service Desk, applications maintenance and desktop delivery.
Key responsibilities…
Engage with business units to identify hardware, application and software migration testing requirements and develop relevant test plans and/or strategies in achieving quality results.
Define the testing process and standards for hardware, application and software migrations from one network to the primary network destination.
Develop, maintain and foster a high-level of client focus and a commitment to quality customer service amongst staff.
Develop testing reports, decision, issue and error logs relating to the end-to-end technical migrations and assigning relevant test plans to either end users and internal technical leads and teams.
Negotiate complex test strategies and plans across multiple teams and resources to ensure the end to end technical migrations are on track and successful.
Provide advice on test management processes and methodologies, ensuring the adoption of best-practice and a focus on continuous improvement.
Delivery effective testing outcomes against the pressure of time, cost, quality and risk
