In October 2020, Woolworths Group Supply Chain rebranded to become Primary Connect – an end-to-end supply chain partner within Woolworths Group. The Opportunity

Reporting to the Transport Strategy & Design Manager, you will be joining our high performing team of analysts, to guide transport network design, strategy, and optimisation to support transport development and a sustainable competitive advantage.

Engaging with internal supply chain stakeholders, our 3PL partners, and carriers, you will drive discovery, conduct analysis and develop innovative and commercially viable transport network solutions

Within this role, you will be required to

Provide recommendations on ways to reduce network costs

Develop solutions to assist with achieving Primary Connect strategy

Create transport modelling that accurately represents current and alternative options

Deliver business cases that are accurate, well documented and clearly presented

Collaborate with stakeholders to gain required information to build transport solutions

Provide data analysis to assist in tender preparation, carrier selection and network solution

About you

You are energetic, self-motivated and naturally inquisitive with a hunger for information and a drive to obtain it independently.

Using data and your highly analytical thinking, you gain granular insights into problems that you solve with creativity and resourcefulness.

Being an excellent communicator, you have the ability to make the complex simple. You gain trust and influence through building strong relationships with your business partners and continuously strive to elevate the profile of your team within the business.
