Beacon Lighting Group operates a large-scale distribution centre in Parkinson Brisbane. This DC services the Queensland store network as well as Queensland commercial customers.
The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the purpose of this newly created role, is to liaise between commercial team members and the warehouse, update relevant systems and ensure all orders are dispatched in accordance with customer requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Provide a conduit between warehouse and commercial administrative teams to ensure business objectives are being met
Asses daily requirements and demands to ensure warehouse commercial pick and pack team is appropriately resourced
Enter daily and urgent ad hoc orders into relevant systems
Action urgent requests, enquiries, escalations, and orders where required to meet customer expectations
Monitor inventory availability and integrity for commercial operations
Assist with pick, pack and dispatch of commercial orders if required
Book shipments with relevant freight providers
Arrange transfer and reservation of required stock
Identify process and system enhancement opportunities to continue driving overall improvement of commercial dispatch operations
Investigation of delivery issues
